(Part II: Influence of grain size on quantification of plastic strain)

The linear correlation between the local misorientation and plastic strain has been utilized to estimate amount of plastic strain in various materials. Since the degree of local misorientation depends on grain size even if the plastic strain was the same. In this study, the influence of grain size on the local misorientation was quantified for deformed SUS316 stainless steel. It was discussed how to correct the influence of grain size.
