[2F11] Feasibility of rotational shuffling Breed-and-Burn fast reactor with nitride fuel and sodium coolant

This study aims to make clear the possibility of designing a small Rotational fuel shuffling Breed-and-Burn fast reactor (RFBB) with nitride fuel and sodium coolant. The neutron transport calculation and fuel burnup calculation were performed using the Serpent, a continuous energy Monte Carlo Reactor Physics Burnup calculation code with the ENDF/B-VII.0 cross-section library. A shuffling program in a python programming language was added as a function of Serpent code to perform the rotational fuel shuffling. It is found that rotational shuffling Breed-and-Burn fast reactor with nitride fuel and sodium coolant can be possible.
