[2F12] Burnup analysis of Rotational Fuel-shuffling Breed-and-Burn fast reactor with lead-bismuth coolant

The purpose of the study was to clarify the feasibility of lead-bismuth cooled rotational fuel-shuffling reactor (RFBB) with nitride fuel by analyzing for equilibrium burning conditions. The Monte Carlo calculation code SERPENT with ENDF/B-VII.0 nuclear data library is used to perform the neutron transport calculation and burnup calculation in this study. The rotational shuffling strategy is achieved by the Python program. The concept is that natural uranium is loaded from the periphery region and moved toward the center along a zigzag path, then discharged at the center of the core. The results showed that the 750 MW RFBB core attained criticality at the equilibrium state and the maximum DPA is less than 600 dpa.
