In our laboratory, we have developed a neutron transport calculation code based on the Iso-Geometric Analysis (IGA) method to resolve the multi-group neutron transport equation for spatial domains of arbitrary shape. We treat the energy variable with the multi-group theory. Therefore, we needed to consider the self-shielding effect, with a method that should also be applicable in 3-D space. In this contribution, we present the possibility of performing self-shielding calculations using the subgroup method for spatial domains of arbitrary shape in 3-D space using the Iso-Geometric Analysis.
