We have proposed a radionuclide nuclide analysis based on cavity ring-down spectroscopy (CRDS) targeting absorption lines of molecules containing radionuclides. Particularly, we focused on the near-infrared absorption transitions of SrO molecules for Sr-90 detection. Experimental observations of vibrational and rotational transitions of SrO molecules by emission or absorption spectroscopy will be reported.
