MHI has developed a mobile micro reactor adopting a high thermal conductor for the core material. The reactor transfers the core heat without coolant that removes heat from the core. With simplified system adopting the all solid reactor concept, the reactor eliminates the coolant accident events, and it contributes to the nuclear reactor safety. In this study, the all solid core concept is proposed from the feasibility results of neutronics and heat conduction in the 1MWt micro reactor.
