1700℃もしくは2400℃で加熱して作製したUO2-ZrO2系模擬燃料デブリを用いて、ディスクカッター切削によるダストの飛散率(ARF)を測定した所、乾燥条件でのARFは20~50%程度でありUO2比に従って低下したが、飛散したダストのUO2とZrO2の比は各試験体の組成比と大きく変わらず,UO2比が大きいほど飛散ダストによる被ばく影響は大きくなると考えられる。
