(4) Effect of sample temperature on optical and acoustic emissions by laser-induced Zirconium plasma
Keywords:Microchip Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy , Laser-plasma optical and acoustical emissions, Decommissioning of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, Sample temperature, LIBS ablation angle
Our group have been developing an acoustic-wave assisted microchip LIBS (AW-mLIBS) system. In this system, laser-plasma optical and acoustical emissions are simultaneously collected to obtain elemental composition and surface imaging of a sample. Additionally, we reported that lens-to-sample-distance (LTSD) can be optimized by the amplitude of laser-plasma acoustic wave. In this presentation, the effect of sample temperature and ablation angle on laser-plasma optical and acoustical emissions will be discussed.
