[2D03] Comparison of computation time required to generate MCS for PRA tools (CAFTA)
Keywords:Probabilistic Risk Assessment, CAFTA, Minimal Cutset
CAFTA, a PRA analysis tool developed by the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), allows the use of multiple tools for Minimal Cutset (MCS) generation during the fault tree (FT) quantification phase. We compared the calculation time required for MCS generation among the tools, depending on the number of base events in the model.
