[STS2-4B-4] A Brain-Computer Interface Based Intervention for ADHD
Current treatment modalities, while effective in treating ADHD from clinical trials, have limitations in daily clinical practice. Inattentive symptoms of ADHD remain difficult to treat and cause significant impairment especially in academic learning. We have developed a novel treatment programme utilizing the brain-computer-interface (BCI) and have conducted several studies. This talk will share about the development of this intervention as well as the results of a series of studies which have been conducted so far in children in ADHD. The potential for future research and development of this technology will also be discussed.
