We performed in situ laser heating experiment of minerals, quartz and clinoenstatite in a TEM. We observed the twin in quartz formed by transition from high temperature phase to low temperature phase in the quench experiment from 1500 mW laser irradiation power. Specific diffraction spots in clinoenstatite disappeared at 2300 mW laser irradiation. This means that the transition to high temperature phase occurred, though we could not determine whether this phase was high clinoenstatite or protoenstatite.
