[1061] An experimental study of shrinkage behavior of bulk hydrophobic mortar
Keywords:autogenous shrinkage, contact angle, drying shrinkage, hydrophobic mortar, setting time, 接触角, 凝結, 撥水材, 自己収縮, 乾燥収縮
Bulk hydrophobic mortar, made by adding hydrophobic chemicals in mix proportion, has been proven with good water penetration resistance even if crack exists. In this study, autogenous shrinkage and drying shrinkage of bulk hydrophobic mortar with different w/c ratios were investigated experimentally. Other properties, such as setting time, water loss, strength and Young's modulus were also measured. It is found that most of the hydrophobic mortars had lower autogenous shrinkage and drying shrinkage. The shrinkage was discussed based on water loss and capillary tension theory.
