Our team is working on analysing the survivability of DNA in the stratospheric environment. In order to achieve this DNA survivability analysis, we are trying to launch virus to the stratosphere as the DNA carrier. We are developing a light sampler which opens and closes during the flight time. By using this device, we will be able to perform the complete exposure of virus to the stratospheric environment taking all the stratospheric environmental factors such as low temperature, low pressure, high UV level, and cosmic rays.
