Educational activities at geoparks have many meanings: encouraging understanding of the area and geoparks, fostering the people who leads the next generation of the area and also the world, giving a chance to study geology and so on. There are 12 schools (9 elementary schools + 3 junior high schools) in the geopark area. These schools are the member of UNESCO Asocciated Schools, base for ESD (Education for Sustainable Development) promotion.
We will analize the changes of the educational activities in this 11 years and discuss about the prospects and challenges.
