Park green space is one of the important components of urban green space system, which plays an important role in urban greening and improving the living environment of citizens. With the continuous progress and development of gardens, people's aesthetic level of plant landscape in park green space is increasing, and their expectation of urban park green space plant community landscape is also getting higher and higher. Therefore, professional analysis and research are needed to create a more reasonable and beautiful landscape. As a scientific evaluation method, plant landscape evaluation can provide constructive suggestions for the creation of plant landscapes in parks.

The SBE method is widely used in the evaluation of park plant landscapes, and it is suitable for the evaluation of larger-scale landscapes, focusing on the aesthetic evaluation of plant landscapes. In this study, we took Jingan Park in Shanghai as the research object, conducted field surveys on the plant landscape in different functional zones, and constructed models based on the data obtained from the landscape evaluation by SBE method. The results show that the overall evaluation of plant landscape in Shanghai Jingan Park is good. Finally, the typical plant landscape in each functional area of the park was analyzed, and the suitable plant landscape in different areas was discussed, and relevant suggestions were made to better meet the needs of the public for landscape.
