[O08-P18] Reproduction of Sakurajima lava flow by 3D model
Keywords:Sakurajima, lava flow, 3D printer, 3D model, analog experiment
Currently, various hazard maps have been prepared for active volcanoes. However, the viscosity of lava flows generated during eruptions is not always constant. Therefore, when lava flows with different viscosities are generated, their basins may also change.
In this study, a 3D model of Sakurajima was printed out by a 3D printer, and analog experiments were conducted using the printed out Sakurajima model. Slime with different viscosities, which imitates lava flows, was poured from the crater of this Sakurajima model, and its flow basins were observed.
