In交換CHA型ゼオライトを高温H2雰囲気下で処理すると,ゼオライト内In ヒドリド種が生成し,エタン脱水素の活性点として働くことを見出した.In-CHAはエタン脱水素反応に優れた選択性と耐久性を示した.IR分光法,速度論的検討及び遷移状態計算から,In-CHAの活性点は[InH2]+であることを明らかにした.

Nitrogen oxides (NOx) are emitted from the stationary and mobile source which creates environmental issues such as acid rain and photochemical smog. Several technologies have been developed to reduce the emission of NOx. However, these technologies are focused on the transformation of NO to less valuable N2. On other hand, NH3 is an important chemical which used as fertilizer and fuel. Therefore, the transformation of NO to NH3 is a more practical way. In this study, we examined the activity of supported catalysts for catalytic reduction of NO to NH3.
