​Applicants guide for the poster sessions

 
  Applicants for the poster session are requested to prepare and submit abstracts and posters according to the following instructions.  Abstracts and e-Posters (poster manuscript files will be set to be non-downloadable and non-printable) will be available on the conference website two days prior to the conference.  e-Posters will be available from two days prior to the conference until the end of the conference.

The questions and answers session for poster presentations will be held as follows.

In this poster session, about three excellent poster awards will be given.  The winners will be notified after the conference and announced on this website.
 
(1) Preparation and prior submission of abstract and poster manuscripts
 
1) Submission of abstract manuscript (pdf file)
Submission period:  Sep. 15, 2021 (Wed.) 13:00 -
                          Sep. 29, 2021 (Wed.) 13:00 (strictly observed)
Manuscript size and file format: A5 size, 1 sheet, 1 page, pdf file 
    (tenplate file download), 10 MB or less

  2) Submission of poster manuscripts (e-Posters)
Submission period: Oct. 29, 2021 (Fri.), 13:00 -
                           Nov. 5, 2021 (Fri.), 13:00 (strictly observed)
Manuscript size and file format: As a rule, submit a single sheet of paper with an aspect ratio of approximately 3 (height):4 (width) in landscape orientation.  The file format should be either "jpg" or "png" file, and the file size should be less than 10 MB.
Submission method: Electronic submission at the URL site to be announced later.
Publication: e-Poster will be available on the conference website from November 9 until the end of the conference.
 
(2) Posting and removal of posters
  The size of the poster board for display is 176 cm (W) * 116 cm (H).  If you are a local participant, please bring your poster printed out on a paper within the size of the board to the venue.
  As a general rule, posters will be displayed from 10:00 on the first day to 17:00 on the second day (the time may be changed depending on the convenience of the presenter). However, if posters are still displayed after 17:30 on the second day, they will be disposed of by the secretariat.
  The posters will be displayed with Velcro attached to the back of the poster (please pick up the Velcro at the registration desk).
 
(3)  Questions and Answers (Q&A) for poster presentations
1) Q&A for poster presentations will be conducted (a) online, (b) onsite/face-to-face, and (c) via Confit-Comments.  (a) Online and (b) on-site/face-to-face Q&A will be conducted on the first day for odd numbers and on the second day for even numbers (see the table below for the respective time slots).  (c) Q&A by Confit-Comments will be conducted from two days before the conference until the end of the conference.
 
2) Local participants will have two Q&A sessions: (a) online Q&A and (b) face-to-face/site Q&A. Local participants are requested to bring their own PC and earphones with microphone.  Please confirm the venue for the online Q&A at the registration desk on the day.

3) Q&A for online participants will be conducted only through online Q&A.  However, there will be two time slots per day.

4) Online Q&A will be conducted in the Zoom breakout room for both local and online participants.

5) e-Posters will be available on Confit from 2 days prior to the conference until the end of the conference, and you can ask questions and answer using the "comments" of each poster displayed on Confit.
