[P13] Development of MFI-type zeolite for ethane dehydrogenation reaction
In recent years, a process of synthesizing a high-value-added aromatic compound from inexpensive ethane derived from natural gas (dehydrogenation of ethane) has attracted attention. It is known that Zn ion-exchanged MFI-type zeolite exhibits a high aromatic yield with respect to dehydrogenation of ethane, but there is a problem that the catalyst life is short. Therefore, in this study, we aimed to improve the catalyst life by precisely controlling the counter cation species, acid strength, and outer surface acidity of MFI-type zeolite.
