[2D03] Evaluation method of catalyst life for RFCC process in the mercury-containing processing oil

The inexpensive crude oil produced in Canada is attracting much attention as RFCC-treated oil. At present, the simple and quick evaluation of catalyst life is strongly required for the on-site catalytic filling process. On the other hand, the refinery in Taiwan is succeeded in the on-site evaluation of catalyst life in RFCC operation. We wish to report that the possibility of evaluating catalyst life for RFCC by using XPS and TPR methods.
