リン化物-硫化物複合触媒の前処理と水素化脱硫活性について検討した。還元処理したRh-P触媒をNiMo触媒と混合した際の昇温硫化プロファイルでは、Rh-P触媒の硫化はほとんど確認できず、NiMo触媒の硫化のみが確認できた。このリン化物-硫化物複合触媒は、Rh₂Pに起因する高い水素化能とNiMoSに起因する高いC-S結合の切断能を有するため、高い水素化脱硫活性を示すことを明らかにした。
