In this lecture, synthesis of (arylmido)vanadium-alkylidene complexes containing halogenated phenoxy ligand and N-heteroccyclic cerbene (NHC) ligands and ther use as catalyst for stereospecific ring opening metathesis polymerization of norbornene derivatves will be introduced. These cataysts afforded highly cis-,syndiotactic polymers and effect of ligand and monomer substituents will be introduce in the symposium.
