[2C05] In-situ STEM observation of Ni/SiO2 catalysts during dry reforming of methane

The conversion of both CO2 and CH4 greenhouse gases via dry methane reforming (DRM) is promising process or the synthesis of valuable chemicals. In this study, in-situ STEM observation of Ni/SiO2 catalyst powder under the reaction condition of DRM was performed using MEMS based TEM holder. The sintering process of Ni catalyst particles and carbon formation were observed above the temperature of 600 ℃.
