[2F06] Design of efficient catalyst for higher alcohols synthesis via CO2 hydrogenation

Nowadays, much attention has been paid to directly synthesis of higher alcohols (C2-4 alcohols) from CO2 hydrogenation. Many promising catalytic systems have been proposed and the morphology of catalyst has been widely studied. In this work, mesoporous metal catalyst, like Co and Cu, were designed. The MOF was utilized as a template for the catalyst synthesis. Besides, the catalysts with conventional structure were also synthesized. The catalytic performance of these catalysts for C2+ alcohol synthesis from direct CO2 hydrogenation were evaluated using a fixed bed reactor and the effects of morphology were also illustrated by characterization techniques.
