[A11] Effectual combination of catalyst support/hybridizing materials leading to high liquid fuels from CO/H2
Keywords:carbon neutral, synthetic liquid fuel, hybridized catalyst
The insights of global carbon neutralization/recycling accentuate liquid fuel (LF) through Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis (FTS) from CO/H2 derived from renewable energy mediated potential CO2 conversion with H2O, but the catalyst issue makes it challenging. This presentation disclosed regulation of LF productivity by different combinations of supporting materials (SM) with hybridizing materials (HM) in Co-based catalysts and a rational 0.7Al2O3/2.0ZSM5 (A) afforded ~63 % LF yield, contrast to usual ~35 % from CO/H2. Relative to other with different SM/different HM, Co-A regulated potentially dispersed FTS secured Co nanoparticle surface (CNS) properties and revealed a tandem process of CH2-polymerization and hydrocracking/hydro-isomerization, suppressing methanation/Water-gas-shift reaction.
