Cu2Sn1-xGexS3 (CTGS) (x=0.17) is a promising material for bottom cells due to its high absorption coefficient and the optimal bandgap (about 1.0 eV). However, the performance of the CTGS solar cells decreases without blue light irradiation, which is a critical drawback for bottom cells. We found that this drawback can be overcome by optimizing the deposition condition of the buffer layer.
