A transient response of nuclear spins in GaAs to a change in a magnetic field was analyzed based on a time evolution of the nuclear spin temperature. We experimentally observed asymmetric behaviors of nuclear spins with respect to both the polarity and sweep direction of the external field in a transient oblique Hanle effect measurement. These behaviors can be described well with the time evolution of nuclear spin temperature. This analysis provides a deep insight for nuclear spin dynamics.
