[14a-A36-9] Wireless device for artificial photosynthesis based on a III-V triple-junction solar cell
Keywords:energy conversion, artificial photosynthesis
To realize an efficient, wireless device for artificial photosynthesis, the catalytic ability and power of the solar cell have to be well balanced. It is essential to design the electrode to satisfy with high catalytic reaction owing to large current generated in the solar cell. We performed electrochemical measurements to investigate the catalytic performance of an anode and a cathode. In addition, the surface electrode was well designed by three-dimensional accumulation of the catalyst. In the presentation, we report on solar-driven water splitting and CO2 reduction to verify the validity of the design of the device.
