DLC having both diamond-like and and graphitic properties is use as surface treatment of many sliding parts due to its unique tribological performance.On the other hand the movement which classify various DLCs into 4 types and promote more spreads to the industrial world. I introduce about the features and processes of 4 types of DLC, and also recent our DLC development and its applications.
