We report a new in-line method to produce CEP-stable intense mid-infrared pulses, which we call dual-wavelength OPA. In addition to the generation, we also demonstrate waveform characterization of the MIR pulses using electro-optic sampling technique with synchronized visible 6.5-fs pulses as sub-cycle probe pulses.
