[22p-S621-4] Investigation of on-demand nanocavity based on graphene loaded photonic crystal

In this study, we attempt nanocavity formation by local loading of graphene on photonic crystal waveguides. In addition, we aim at cavity formation of control based on refractive index change by Fermi energy modulation. We designed graphene loaded silicon photonic crystal waveguides which enable cavity formation. We found that Fermi energy modulation of graphene enables control of cavity formation by numerical electromagnetic simulations.
