[5p-PB7-7] Discrimination of fat region by ultrasonic velocity change method using a combined ultrasonic probe

In order to apply ultrasonic velocity change method to fatty liver diagnosis, we have proposed and fabricated a combined ultrasonic probe for warming and signal detection with different operating frequencies. In this study, we applied the ultrasonic velocity change method to fatty liver phantoms with different fraction of fat (10, 20, 30%) using the combined probe, and confirmed that the fat contents of the phantoms could be estimated.
