[5p-PB7-8] Simulation of Acoustic Propagation Employing Dissipative Particle Dynamics Method

Shuto Tanabashi1, Takanobu Kuroyama1 (1.NIT, Gifu college)

Keywords:Acoustic propagation analysis, Dissipative particle dynamics method

Simulation of acoustic propagation employing Dissipative Particle Dynamics (DPD) method was performed to validate the method on the simulation. One-dimensional acoustic wave was propagated by sinusoidally driving the position of perfect reflective boundary in three-dimensional simulation space enclosed by periodic boundary and perfect reflective boundary. As a result, the acoustic wave propagating with theoretical sound speed was observed and the validity of the method was confirmed. In addition, non-linear acoustic propagation was shown in conditions of high driving speed of the perfect reflective boundary.
