Vapor-Liquid-Solid (VLS) growth method is a liquid-assisted vapor phase epitaxy. This method can provide high quality RE123 films at a high rate. However, there are mostly no reports that introduced nanorods as APC using this method. In this study, we suggest introducing BaHfO3 nanorods into the VLS grown Sm123 films using solid layer with projecting upper part of nanorods, and thin liquid layer. We also report superconducting properties and the microstructure in BaHfO3-doped VLS-Sm123 films.
