Improvement of Jc in magnetic fields due to pinning of magnetic flux has been reported by doping BaMO3(BMO, M = Zr, Hf, Sn etc.) to REBa2Cu3Oy(REBCO, RE = Rare Earth) coated conductors. In the case of using PLD method, in order to suppress the manufacturing cost, it is necessary to fabricate at a high deposition rate, and a method of increasing the laser repetition rate is cited. In this research, we aimed to clarify the effect of repetition rate on BHO shape in SmBCO thin films. From the TEM images and the angular dependence of Jc, it was confirmed that BHO grows inclined as the repetition rate increases.
