The objective of this study is highly sensitive detection of redox analytes with higher overpotential than O2 evolution such as Ce3+/4+. In previously report, the amplification of amperometric current has been obtained by interdigitated array electrodes based on a conductive diamond-like carbon (B-DLC-IDA) with a wide working potential range. The B-DLC-IDA electrodes has been composed of two sets of microband array with 2.0-μm bandwidth and 2.0-μm intervals. The amperometric current at IDA electrodes was 300 larger than that at the flat DLC electrode. In this report, the amplification was doubled again by reducing bandwidth and intervals to 1.0-μm.
