On-chip artificial Darwinian selection technology using a microarray was developed as one of the most promising approaches to obtain genetic-codes of superior proteins from a large number of mutant libraries efficiently. A sealing technology of the reaction reagents in the microreactors in the system is important for individually measuring the activity of the mutant protein. In this paper, we report the usefulness of the reagents sealing technique by a surface modification of microreactor array chip.
