Thermo-catalytic decomposition (TCD) of methane is the attractive hydrogen production process to mitigate CO2 emissions commonly associated with the conventional processes.
However, the problem of the process is catalyst deactivation by carbon deposition. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the catalysts structure and the catalytic activity of produced carbon during TCD of methane by using four types of carbon catalysts with different structures.
