In order to apply the REBa2Cu3Oy(RE123, RE = Rare Earth) film to the superconducting wire, it is necessary to increase the production speed. Therefore, high-speed film formation using the VLS growth method attracts attention. Although the oxygen partial pressure was raised in the VLS growth method in order to perform further high-speed film formation, the liquid phase partially solidified due to the rise in the melting point of the liquid phase. Therefore, the problem was solved by adding Ag, which may decrease the liquidus melting point, to the liquid phase. In this study, we investigated the effectiveness of Ag addition by varying oxygen partial pressure and substrate temperature.
