In this work, an 800 nm femtosecond laser is focused on a metal plate surface through a PLA plate. Periodic nanostructures are produced on the PLA surface. We examined the dependence of the formed periodic nanostructures on the contact pressure between the PLA plate and the meta plate. The formation efficiency of the periodic nanostructures depends on the laser conditions and the contact pressure.
