Recently, improvement in the conversion efficiency of chalcogenide solar cells by addition of alkali metals has been reported. In order to further improve the conversion efficiency, it is necessary to investigate the influence of alkali metal in detail from the viewpoint of fundamental physical properties. In this study, photoluminescence (PL) measurement was performed on the samples to which Na was added to Cu2SnS3(CTS). As a result of the measurement, new luminescence considered to be due to Na was observed.
