[17p-P6-13] Fabrication of Pt/Au composite nanostructured electrode for scanning electrochemical microscopy

We fabricated Au and Pt composite microelectrodes for Scanning electro-chemical microscopy with high roughness factor using nanoporous gold (NPG). NPG was made by anodization in hydrochloric acid. Pt thin layer was deposited on the NPG via surface limited redox replacement method. Roughness factor of obtained NPG electrode was 205 and 65% NPG surface area was covered by Pt thin layer.
