We report on the visible light driven photocatatytic activity of Indium sulfide quantum dots. The indium sulfide quantum dots and indium sulfide/Ag nanohybrid structures were prepared by the homogeneous precipation methods. The structure and morphology was studied using the XRD and FESEM characterisation. The particle size is calculated using Scherrer formula. The optical properties were investigated using UV-VIS spectroscopy studies, photoluminscence and Raman Studies. The intermediates of the methyl orange dye after the photocatalysis process were analysed using Gas chromotagraphy technique. The Photocatalytic behaviour of both indium sulfide quantum dots and indium sulfide/Ag nanohybrid structures was studied.
