△ [18a-E204-5] Color Transition of Gold Nanoparticles by Bright Field Observation and Control of the Color by T-responsive Gel

The wide color variation of gold nanoparticles under bright field was observed. It has also been found that its color changes as the distance from the substrate changes. By using PNIPAM gel that undergoes dynamic volume phase transition with temperature, we controled the distance between gold nanoparticles dispersed inside the gel and the substrate. We show the color transition can be controlled by the temperature. Also we show that the color covers a wide area of visible range.
