Keywords:Single walled CNT, Alcohol Catalytic CVD, sub-nano meter diameter SWCNT

Single walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) comprised of fore frontier application due to its superior chemical, electrical and optical properties. <gwmw class="ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-1" id="gwmw-15614489791480241438487">Chirality</gwmw> controlled SWCNT synthesis is progressing very rapidly to surpass the post-growth treatment process. So synthesized SWCNTs had more than 1nm diameter and with very low yield. The band gap of semiconducting SWCNTs increases <gwmw class="ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-3" id="gwmw-15614489804581427518494">on</gwmw> decreasing diameter. Narrow diameter distributed SWCNTs possesses fewer <gwmw class="ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-1" id="gwmw-15614489814800458990188">chirality</gwmw> and synthesis of such tubes could be an alternative technique to solve the aforementioned problem. Here we challenge to address this issue by utilizing simultaneously deposited Co and W onto SiO2 <gwmw class="ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-1" id="gwmw-15614490117198485352174">as</gwmw> a catalyst.
