Keywords:atmospheric pressure plasma, paint peeling

Painting is important to protect the ship's appearance and keep it in good condition. However, it is necessary to periodically repaint, when sufficient effect by aging degradation cannot be expected. From the result of the previous studies, by irradiating atmospheric pressure plasma to the painted surface, it was confirmed that the painting tends to peel off easily. The purpose was to use a ship bottom paint, and verify the painting tends to peel off easily for practical use. The usefulness has been confirmed from the experimental results.
