[18p-PB1-10] Mechanical Anisotropy of MMT-NC Gel Prepared in Magnetic Field

We prepared montmorillonite-based nanocomposite gels in a magnetic field and succeeded in producing optically and mechanically anisotropic gels. The gel obtained had optically negative birefringence. The Young's modulus and elongation at break in the direction of applied magnetic field were improved.
