[19p-PA4-10] Local Chemical Reactions of Graphene Oxide Using Scanning Tunneling Microscopy
Keywords:graphene oxide, scanning tunneling microscopy
In this presentation, we used scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) to control the chemical states of graphene oxide (GO) in the nanoscale. It was found that the eliminations of oxygen functional groups or the desorption of GO occur by injecting tunneling electrons from STM tip. Two types of reactions depends on the applied bias voltage, indicating these reactions can be induced selectively by tuning the voltage applied to GO.
