In the decommissioning of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Plant, in order to determine a plan of taking out the nuclear fuel debris, we should identify composed elements and positions of the debris. An InGaP solar cell is expected to have the potential to detect α-ray berceuse of their significant thinner structure (~1 μm) than the range distance of α-ray. Therefore, we tried to conduct the α-ray irradiation test to the InGaP solar cell and to calculate the radiation behavior. In this presentation, we will talk about the measurement method for α-ray dose by using InGaP solar cell.
