[20p-C207-10] Fabrication of YBa2Cu3O7 thin film on {110} <110> textured Ag tape

We have attempted to fabricate REBCO thin films with high Jc on a textured Ag tape. Ag is almost the only metal that does not react chemically with REBCO, so no buffer layer is required for fabricating superconducting wire. And since the Ag tape and the REBCO layer are electrically connected, additional formation of a stabilization layer is unnecessary or easy to be formed. Therefore, it can be expected that the wire manufacturing cost is relatively inexpensive. In this paper, we fabricated a {110} <110> textured Ag tape and YBCO thin films on it.
